CABERNET FRANC

The 2021 growing season gave us even-tempered conditions for the Diamond Mountain appellation, revealing some of Cabernet Franc’s best attributes. This wine manifests freshness that unfolds into red berries and cassis. On the palate, the red berries express acidity that is complexed with pronounced texture giving a cocoa flavor that persists into a polished silky finish. MERLOT

The 2021 Merlot expresses an abundance of red fruit. Aromatically, it takes a deep dive into dark cherries, raspberries and wild forest strawberries. While the vinous flavors articulate a full bodied Merlot with lively acidity, a gripping texture develops then immediately gives way to a finer grained tannin. RESERVE CABERNET SAUVIGNON

Reverberating depth with a seemingly infinite persistence to the mouthfeel, perfection is what to expect from this wine. Hand selected clusters and detailed barrel selection for each vintage guides this wine to refinement. Created as a special bottling for our Diamond Collectors, the complexity and richness of this wine exudes the quintessential of Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon.

SINGLE BLOCK CABERNET SAUVIGNON

Inspired by mother nature, this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from a different vineyard block every year which best expresses our unique terroir. Taking the nature of a specific site to truly represent the best of that vintage is what one can expect of this wine.

CABERNET SAUVIGNON

This vintage, defined by perfect growing conditions, showcases the true typicity of each varietal, enriched by the distinctive mountain top soils of Diamond Mountain District. Our 100% Estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon reflects this remarkable year with extraordinary power and concentration. Expect a symphony of red fruits, currants, and cassis, seamlessly integrated with velvety chocolate textures, culminating in a finish that seems to last forever.

CLARET

Our version of a traditional style Claret, this layered blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot highlight the harmony of finesse and power that Diamond Mountain is capable of. For our Diamond Collectors who pursue a wine to share with others, this Bordeaux style blend is sure to be enjoyed by all.

SYRAH, QUEEN OF DIAMONDS

The 2019 Diamond Mountain Vineyard Syrah is 100% Syrah, aged for 21 months in 50% new French oak cooperage and bottled unfiltered.

Our Syrah is grown at 2100 feet elevation, on a northern section of Diamond Mountain that is comprised of unusually shallow soil. The unique growing conditions yield a heavily pigmented berry vinified into viscous pleasure. The resulting wine has seductive aromatics of savory meats and forest soil giving way to raspberries that lift the bouquet into pleasant red fruit aromas. In the mouth, the wine is concentrated and powerful with the texture of fine milled milky chocolate.–Kevin Vecchiarelli, Winemaker.

THE PEAK, Proprietary Red

The 2020 The Peak is an intense blend of 55% Cabernet Franc,40% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Syrah, The wine is aged 20 months in 60% new French oak and bottled unfiltered.

The fruit for this wine was harvested on the eve before the Glass fire on September 26, 2020. We were fortunate to capture the best qualities of our vineyard just prior to this disasterous event. This unique blend exhibts comforting aromatics of mocha and cocoa powder, while at the same time a fresh floral quality redolent of French geraniums adds more complexity to the nose. The wine is full bodied and reveals our familiar mountain fruit density.

CHARDONNAY

A Hyde Clone Chardonnay grafted onto 26-year-old Merlot rootstock is the unexpected crown jewel of our estate. Aged for 12 months in 100% neutral French oak barrels, this wine showcases a silky, full-bodied mouthfeel with bright acid, minerality, citrus and undertones of stone fruit.

ROSÉ

Our 2023 Rosé is here and just in time for all of your summer activities. Created from designated estate blocks of Syrah, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. The Rosé is handpicked whole cluster during the early morning hours and gently basket pressed to eliminate seed exposure. This old world traditional Provence style of Rosé winemaking emphasizes minerality with crisp flavors and delicate floral aromas enhanced by whiffs of strawberries.
