“With just the right amount of stress from the vineyard, just enough barrel to balance structure and a healthy dose of common sense I simply make the best wine that I can with a sense of artistry and place.”
-Kevin Vecchiarelli, Winemaker
This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced entirely from one block of vines on the peak of diamond mountain that faces the morning sun, F2. The vineyard row orientation, topography and high elevation of this block protected the fruit from afternoon heat.
Tobacco leaves that give way to currants, cocoa, and bing cherries frame the bouquet. The mouthfeel is led by integrated tannins, showing texture and body while a firm grip remains on the palate assuring longevity. —Kevin Vecchiarelli, Winemaker

Due to our high elevation on Diamond Mountain, the resulting cooler temperatures gave us some classic Cabernet Franc qualities. Raspberries, redcurrant and strawberries with fresh plums shine through an aroma of subtle dried herbs. The wine evolves into a complex bouquet that ends with uplifting freshness.
On the palate, a soft entry grows into a full bodied, textured finish with just enough tannin to remind us that this is an age-worthy wine. —Kevin Vecchiarelli, Winemaker

The 2021 Merlot expresses an abundance of red fruit. Aromatically, it takes a deep dive into dark cherries, raspberries and wild forest strawberries. While the vinous flavors articulate a full bodied Merlot with lively acidity, a gripping texture develops then immediately gives way to a finer grained tannin. This is an excellent expression of mountain grown Merlot.

Our Syrah is grown at 2100 feet elevation, on a northern section of Diamond Mountain that is comprised of unusually shallow soil. The unique growing conditions yield a heavily pigmented berry vinified into viscous pleasure.
